Bob Marley songs question?

Question by someone: Bob Marley songs question?
My boyfriend really likes Bob Marley and I've started to teach him guitar. I looked online and found some different tab books for Bob Marley songs and thought that would be a perfect Christmas gift for him. But I was listening with some of his songs with my boyfriend today and from what I could tell it didn't seem like there was much guitar in the songs at all.
