Question by powerliftingrules: My son has had guitar lessons for 6 months now. He knows a few chords and notes and plays a few songs.?
The teacher writes the tabs for him and he practices during the week for his next lesson. It takes him about 3 to 4 weeks to learn a song. My question is should he be learning to read notes? I mean he cant pick up a book and play a song out of it. Should I ask to split the lesson up like half notes and half guitar tabs and chords and learning songs? I
