easy songs on bass guitar?

Question by Super Dude: easy songs on bass guitar?
okay i play lead guitar - riffs, bass solo's and the like don't appeal to me im looking for songs with rhythm. something that wont sound good on its own but will sound good with the song / band. the actual difficulty doesn't matter (as long as you dont have to pop or slap since i havnty learn them). i want to learn something which mainly focuses on the root note keeping rhythm.

i like rock, alt rock and grunge - mostly american stuff
