Question by Ellae: When there's no upstroke or downstroke sign on top of a note, how do you stum it (guitar)?
Excuse my uter newbie-ness... I started a week ago. I recently got a good guitar book (the hal leonard method) And I'm confused, because it says a certain symbol means you strike the string with a downwards motion, and a different symbol means you strike it up. So how do you strike it when there's neither?
